Council leaseholders
We are committed to ensuring that all residents are given the opportunity to enjoy the advantages of home ownership and have been selling leasehold properties since 1978. During that time, legislation and council policy have resulted in changes to lease formats. This means that, although the leases we grant now follow a standard format, there can be variations. These variations particularly affect how we charge you for services and repairs. Due to these variations this section is currently being checked and rewritten to ensure that it is accurate, informative, and still easy to use. We are currently updating it to contain information about your rights and responsibilities as a leaseholder, which are set out in your lease. It will also contain information about services we provide and about your local estate or area. In the meantime if you have any questions regarding your lease then please use our contact us section of this site to find out who you need to speak to. If you need information about service charges, or selling your property then you can find information in the 'your charges' section. For further information for older people please see the older People section of this site and people with disabilities can find more on the disabled people section. There are various ways you can request repairs for your home and communal areas. The online repairs service is for non-emergency repairs only and are monitored Monday-Friday from 8.30am-5.30pm. Also, you may find the information you need by using our search facility. Wandsworth Housing Dept 17-27 Garratt Lane SW18 4AE |
