In November 2000 marked control of the Small Improvements Capital Budget was passed to accredited residents associations through the Area Housing Panel structure.

In order to qualify for funds any scheme must be

• Under £20,000 in value
• An improvement (not replacement) and therefore non-rechargeable to leaseholders.
• Not part of an existing programme of works (e.g. door entry systems)
• Not incur any ongoing maintenance costs.

In order to submit a scheme for consideration by the Area Housing Panel get your association to submit a request through your Area Housing team.
