Residents' associations and Resident Participation Officers Residents' associations are vital in shaping the services the council provides to residents in Wandsworth. In order to encourage and assist residents in participating in the provision of the housing service, there are four specialist Resident Participation Officers who are part of the Area Housing Teams. Their role is to support existing residents' associations and help set up and support the formation of new accredited residents' associations. They also have a monitoring role for the services provided by the twelve Resident Management Organisations (RMOs) who manage housing stock on behalf of the council. If you have any queries about an existing residents' association or would like some advice about setting up a residents' association, please contact the Resident Participation Officer in the Area Team that manages your property.
