36 Complaints about neighbours We will take reasonable steps to investigate your complaints and will take action where appropriate.We will do all we can to help solve any problems with your neighbours and will take firm action against neighbours who cause a nuisance. 37 Causing a nuisance You, your lodgers, friends, relatives, visitors and any other person living in the property must not do any of the following:
Any breach of the tenancy conditions by anyone living in or visiting the property, or where there is a joint tenancy, by one of the joint tenants, will be treated as a breach by the tenant. If you are evicted it is likely you will be considered to have made yourself "intentionally homeless" and consequently not entitled to rehousing by the council. Note: This is a list of things that you and other members of your household and your visitors are not allowed to do. The prohibition on using the property for pornography means the making of pornographic materials at the property, or commercial use of the property for the storage, distribution or sale of pornographic material. Note: These are examples of antisocial behaviour which might cause us to take legal action against you. 38 Domestic violence and abuse You must not use or threaten to use violence or abuse, including psychological abuse, against any other person living with you, nor against their children. If you do, and that person or their children have to leave the property because of violence, or threats of violence or abuse against them, we may take steps to evict you from your home. Note: Psychological abuse could include insulting and humiliating behaviour, denying a person the right to see family or friends, extreme jealous, possessive or irrational behaviour. |
