Graffiti Awareness Week in Association with SWAAG Autumn 2008 - 6 to 12 October
On Monday 6 October Wandsworth Council opens its fifth Graffiti Awareness Week with a range of initiatives aimed at raising awareness of the service, educating young people and highlighting the environmental damage and cost of graffiti vandalism in southwest London.
Programme includes
Borough poster displays using one of our competition winners design from last year.
Advertising and editorial in local publications.
Launch of 'Your Choice' workshop touring primary schools throughout 2008-2009.
New magnetic bookmark for pupils taking part in the workshops.
Renewal of the Virgin Media contract.
Wandsworth Graffiti Removal Service will also be supporting the 'Not in my Neighbourhood' week from 11 to 19 October 2008.
