Freehold imageIntroduction
If you are a long-term leaseholder of a flat (that is you were given a lease of more than 21 years), you may have the right to buy the freehold of your building along with the other leaseholders. This is called "collective enfranchisement".

You can find the full qualifying rules for collective enfranchisement in the guidebook "Residential long leaseholders – a guide to your rights and responsibilities", published by the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG). You can view this document at www.communities.gov.uk/documents/corporate/pdf/145085

If you and the other leaseholders in your building are interested in buying the freehold of your property, please contact us using the details listed below.
