The effects:
Helps reduce stress and anxiety, drowsiness, forgetfulness, confusion. Upset stomach, craving (more and more is needed to get the same effect).

The risks:
Injecting Benzos brings a risk of damaged veins, HIV and Hepatitis. Benzos in particular are highly addictive. Injecting Temazepam capsules (jellies) can block up the veins and can lead to loss of limbs and even death. Overdosing on Benzos or mixing them with other drugs (e.g. heroin or alcohol or both) can lead to death.

The law:
It is not illegal to have or use Benzodiazepines (with the exception of Temazepam and Rohypnol). It is illegal to sell or give away any Benzodiazepines, even to friends. This is an offence punishable by up to 5 years in prison and/or a fine. It is illegal to possess Temazepam without a prescription. Any Benzodiazepine which is prepared for injection will be treated by the law as a Class A drug.
Getting a criminal record can make it more difficult to travel abroad or get certain jobs.
