THE FACTS: Ketamine Sometimes called: K, Special K, CK and Calvin Klein (when mixed with Cocaine).

What it looks like: Comes as a pill, powder or liquid.
How it's used: Swallowed, snorted or injected.
The effects: Increased energy, makes the body feel numb. Some users feel like they are flying or floating. Blurred vision and slurred speech, feeling anxious and depressed, panic attacks and sleeplessness. Seeing or hearing things that aren't there - can be frightening
The risks: It's an anaesthetic so may lead to accidents or injury. Rigid muscles can make it very difficult to move or feel anything. Feeling aggressive. There is lots of fake Ketamine sold which has unknown effects. Mixing Ketamine with other drugs especially alcohol is very dangerous.
The law: Ketamine is a Class C drug which means that it's illegal to possess it and to supply it. Possession can get you up to two years in prison and an unlimited fine. Getting a criminal record can make it more difficult to travel abroad or get certain jobs.
