Cookbook
We recently created a Family Learning Cookbook together with Camden and Lambeth Family Learning departments. It has lots of information including: choosing the right foods; buying food; growing your own food etc.

 Family Learning Programmes aim to give parents/carers confidence in being involved in their child's education. We currently deliver Family Learning courses in a wide range of venues including over 30 Wandsworth primary and secondary schools. Other participating organisations include Wandsworth Libraries, South Thames College and a number of community and voluntary sector organisations.  On the 4 July 2005 at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Wandsworth went Gospel! Watch how eight schools and two community choirs consisting of parents, teachers and senior citizens made up a 400 strong choir. The course and event was organised by Wandsworth Adult and Community Learning and Wandsworth Music Service together with Project Music Workshops.

Funding
We fund adult and community education in Wandsworth at a number of locations around the borough. Planning for adult and community education is led by Wandsworth LEA in close consultation with the London Central Learning and Skills Council and the Lifelong Learning Development Group consisting of partners from a range of organisations including Further Education, Higher Education, Schools, Prospects, Jobcentreplus, community and voluntary groups, and other council departments.
