After School Care provision Introduction Each centre has a team of qualified and/or experienced staff dedicated to providing good quality care and play services for your child. A variety of activities are provided daily and a programme of activities is developed alongside you and your child's suggestions, project work going on in the school, developmental needs of the children and the expected outcomes for children in terms of their experiences whilst at the setting. A light snack is provided each day and a monthly menu is developed to promote healthy eating. A copy of the programme of activities and menu is given to you and displayed at the centre. Aims
Opening times, charges & admissions policy The services are offered in term-time only and will operate to the opening and closing dates and times of the host school, i.e. the school which the centre is based. You need to sign an agreement to the service terms and conditions and payments must be made & received in advance of your child's attendance. Bookings cannot be taken without signed Terms & Conditions. Children are collected and escorted to the after school centre and can only be collected by a named collector at the end of the day. You may be entitled to financial support towards the cost of your childcare through the Child Tax Credit and Working Tax Credit, which are available to support families with children and working people on low incomes. You can claim Child Tax Credit if you are responsible for at least one child or young person and you do not have to be working to claim.
