Play services is now part of the newly formed Children's Services Department, providing a range of services for children and young people aged between 0 and 16 years.

One O'clock Centres are an open access play provision for children aged 0 - 5yrs and their parents/carers.
Activity Centres are run after school during the term time for children aged between 5 and 11 years.
Holiday Playcentres operate a full time play care provision during the school holidays for children and young people aged 3 - 13yrs.
Adventure Playgrounds provide challenging outdoor and indoor play for children and young people aged 5 - 16yrs.
After School Centres provides closed access care play facilities at local primary schools for children and young people aged 3 - 11yrs during term time.
All our play services are fully accessible for children and young people with special needs.
