Special schools

Wandsworth has nine special schools as well as three special units attached to the mainstream schools, catering for a wide range of special educational needs. These include schools for pupils with learning difficulties, emotional and behavioural difficulties, hearing and visual impairment and physical disabilities.

To find out more about special schools and mainstream schools and their provision for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) please contact them direct to request a prospectus or an appointment to visit. Telephone numbers and addresses are included in the details.

In the case of special schools and for all children with statements of SEN admissions are dealt with by the Special Needs Assessment Section on 020 8871 8061. For advice on applying for a place in a mainstream school for children with SEN but without a statement of SEN please contact Pupils Services on 020 8871 7962.
