Additional funding Additional funding for 14-19 Provision and activities is provided by the Learning and Skills Council (LSC), the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) and the Higher Funding Council for England (HEFCE)
Funding from the Authority and the Learning and Skills Council enables the Borough to employ a 14-19 officer (see contacts) as well as contributing to a whole range of projects aimed at raising attainment, broadening the curriculum and managing changes in the 14-19 agenda.
Funding from the Department for Children, Schools and Families provides support for the Borough to put in place the DFES Implementation Plan which will allow for consortia within the Borough to develop Specialised Diplomas.
Funding from HCECE via the Aspire Partnership (Universities of Goldsmiths, Greenwich, Kings College and London South Bank plus the boroughs of Bexley, Greenwich, Lambeth, Southwark and /Wandsworth) allows for students who have the potential to go to university to access a wide range of programmes and summer schools.
Management The Borough has a 14-19 Forum, which meets 3 times during the year to ensure that provision for students is high quality and meets all the necessary criteria. The forum makes decisions regarding collective funding and is chaired by Paul Robinson, Director of Children's Services.
The supporting structure consists of three sub-groups: Curriculum and Standards Operational Group - meets twice a term and is responsible for curriculum planning and quality assurance.
Work Based Learning Group - a termly forum for providers of Entry to Employment courses and Apprenticeships to share information and develop collaborative initiatives.

Information, Advice and Guidance Group - meets termly and is responsible for promoting high quality impartial information, advice and guidance in schools, Colleges and training providers.
