Information on the procedures and appeals process for Primary and Secondary schools admissions can be found on this site.
We strongly recommend that you find out more about a school before you apply.You can use the information on this site in the Primary or Secondary schools detail pages to contact schools for their prospectus or to arrange a visit.

There are two detailed brochures produced for Primary and Secondary admissions, both of which can be ordered or downloaded from this site. Visit the Primary or Secondary schools pages for more information and the brochure details.

Some schools receive more applications than they can accept. The details of the individual schools tells you the admissions criteria which are used to decide which children will be offered places.
This will give you an idea of whether or not your child stands a good chance of getting a place at the school you prefer.
Unless you are certain that your child will get a place at a particular school,you should apply to other schools as well
