Supply Wandsworth
Supply Wandsworth is a strategic localised procurement programme, delivered by our Economic Development Team.
Aims
We want to ensure SMEs, community/voluntary organisations and businesses with a Wandsworth postcode have the information and expertise they need to bid and tender for public and private sector contracts within the borough.
The programme will:
- Offer training, learning and support to ensure supplier readiness
- Build a supplier directory - a comprehensive list of local suppliers who are fit to tender
- Enable information to be shared about new open tenders or contract opportunities within the borough
- Develop a buyers' network of multiple stakeholders across private and public sectors
- Run networking events
We commissioned business support organisation Branduin to deliver our Fit to bid supplier readiness training programme.
New digital toolkit
We are proud to present our new digital toolkit, produced in partnership with Branduin. It's packed with useful tips to help you improve your bid response, write effective tenders, understand ESG and more.
Local supplier directory coming soon
Our goal is to ensure that local businesses are in the best position to bid for or win public and private sector tender contracts in the borough.
We are currently developing a supplier directory which will be enable buyers to gain easier access to suppliers of goods, services and works within the borough.
We aim to launch the directory in spring 2024.
Our events
Since September 2023 Branduin has delivered information webinars and live events, all designed to equip SMEs with greater understanding of procurement processes and how to effectively bid for potential upcoming local contracts. You can watch recordings of past webinars if you were unable to attend in person.
Meet the Buyer event
We are delighted to host another Meet the Buyer event this June, giving local businesses unprecedented access to buyers and decision makers from the Council and large private sector buyers and suppliers.

We encourage and invite early-stage SMEs and established businesses based in our borough to register and be part of a wider conversation, network with large buyers, and apply for upcoming contract opportunities.
There will be plenty of time for networking, so bring lots of business cards!
